The ISI Nitro Whip Dispenser is a large 1-litre version of a brand new technology. This can be used for creating instant espresso cocktails, Nitro Cold Brew and other Nitro drinks. With the ISI Nitro Whip Dispenser, you can turn almost any drink into a Nitro drink. The ISI Nitro Whip Dispenser combines pressure and nitrogen to create exceptional drinks. Nitrogen gas adds a unique texture to your beverages without carbonating them – making it perfect for coffee, cocktails, beer, milk and smoothies. Designed to bring nitro convenience for both on-trade applications and use at home or pretty much anywhere.
Note that the 1-litre version is quite heavy – however, it will hold double the nitro drink compared to the half-litre!
How does it work?
The dispensing nozzle forces Nitrogen gas into any drink to create an emulsion – it gives your drink a thick creamy texture, with a smooth mouthfeel and a sweet taste. It uses small cheap disposable Nitrogen (not Nitrous Oxide) cartridge.
Nitro Coffee first appeared in the USA several years ago and is considered an alternative method of serving cold brew coffee. The ISI Nitro Whip Dispenser works with similar principles to a full draught nitro system. Utilising pressure and a jet nozzle to create cascading bubbles and a foam head similar to those found in stout.

Pull the lever and dispense into a clear glass for best effect.
Once used – pull the lever to release pressure.
Unscrew the cartridge from the head and repeat.

Gas Cartridge Burns Warning
Gas cartridges are filled with liquified gas under high pressure.
Puncturing the cartridge can cause freezing gas to escape so you may want to protect your hands and face.
Ensure the cartridge is empty of gas before removing it from your device.
Cartridges get freezing cold when punctured.
If you are burnt by freezing gas you must immediately seek medical advice. A high-pressure gas burn can cause deep tissue damage which is not immediately obvious at the time of the injury.
Caring for Stainless Steel
We advise customers to please ensure each evening that you wash up and dry your equipment.
Do not leave sitting on wet surfaces overnight or it will rust.
Dispensers must not be frozen. Minimum temperature 3C.
Aluminium home-use whippers must never be used with hot ingredients.
Stainless steel whippers should not be used with very hot ingredients. Maximum temperature 75C.
